Our House is Expanding by Two Feet!!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby boy this coming April! Everything has been going great so far for Jen and our baby. Jen finds new ways to sleep comfortably every night as we count down each week. We also pray that God continues to guide us through this pregnancy. We're Back

We are back from our great vacation in Costa Rica. Its has been a busy last few days trying to get back into the swing of things (back to reality). We will post picture as soon as we get them off our camara.

2 Days and Counting

We are so excited to be leaving for Costa Rica this Friday night! We will definitely post some pictures when we return. Also, we are settled in our house and have planned a house warming/ blessing party. Check your email for information, if you don't have the invite, let us know. Talk with you soon!!!

6 Weeks Until......

We leave for COSTA RICA. We are so excited to go and get away for 10 days. We have had a hectic summer and are ready for our yearly vacation.

Moving

The past week has been a busy week for us. We received our keys to our new place on Aug 5th. Since then Grant and his mom have been hard at work painting, cleaning and installing appliances and tv's. Over the weekend we were finally able to move our stuff over with help from friends and family, thank you to you all who helped!!! Jen has been slowly putting away things trying to make our home look like home. Later this week we will post some pictures of our new home.

ALMOST THERE!!!

We have about a week and half until we close escrow....we are so glad that it's almost over. It has been a very stressfull process with some twist and turns but we were able to get through it with God's help.

Our New Home

We finally found a home located in Foothill Ranch. We go into escrow on Monday and we are so glad that our 3 1/2 months of home searching has come to an end.

Baby's New Haircut

Jen's brother came to visit and decided to give Baby a haircut. Jen was getting tired of the cat hair around the house and her brother told her he can fix it. This is the end result.

Homes, Homes, Homes...

We have looked at nearly 16 places. It is so draining looking at these places, last week on Wednesday we looked at 5 properties after a full days work, its like we were on a marathon looking at places. Everyone says its the time to buy, yet this market is really hard to make offers in. Many of these places are short sales or bank owned. Many of the bank owned properties also require you to have a pre-approval with the bank that owns the property. Its not the typical market thats for sure. All in all we're creating memories looking at these places. Other than that, life is going well. we do have an offer out there for a place in Foothill Ranch, we'll see what happens, It's in His hands. Tomorrow...Probably more houses to look at, if not tomorrow, definately Wednesday.

Time for an Update

Well like I said at the beginning, wasn't sure how often this would get update. Heres a quick update: Jen and I both are busy at work. When we're not at work, we are combing the internet (via MLS and a home scouting program) to find a first home to purchase- what an experience. Up until last night, every place we looked at went into escrow just before or right after viewing the property. We have two canidates right now, with a couple more to view on this Wednesday. Anyhow, we're staying busy and enjoying life the best we can!
